Welcome to Little Land!
Little Land is a children’s role play centre where every child can use their imagination to create their own world and dream they can be whatever they want to be. Our centre is split on two floors where children can explore and role play; whether that’s a baker, hairdresser, construction worker or even a firefighter to name but a few. Little Land offers scaled down themed rooms carefully designed and filled with props to offer a creative and educational experience. There is also a small sensory garden for little babies and non-walkers where they can lay or sit down and play with a selection of toys suitable for their age.
We also offer a cafe and seating area for parents / carers to sit and enjoy a light bite and a selection of drinks carefully designed for you to relax whilst being able to watch your child play.

Play Sessions
We offer three play sessions during the day, Tuesday to Friday and one session at 9am on a Saturday and Sunday.
If we have no party bookings on a Saturday, additional sessions will be opened up to the public.
Sessions for children 6yrs and under
Tuesday – Friday
9.15-10.45 (90 mins)
11.15-1.15pm – (2 hour)
1.30 – 2.30pm (1 hour)

– 1 Adult and 1 Child (tottering to 6 years) -£9.50

– Additional Child (tottering to – 6yrs) – £5.20

2 Hour Sessions

These sessions have reduced capacity and no music playing so ideal for children who may have SEN or AEN or may just prefer a quieter play session. No diagnosis is needed and all are welcome.

These sessions are aimed for our younger children who are below 2.
- Every first Tuesday of the month at 9:15am
Every month we aim to turn a play session into a special themed session. Themes will include: dinasours, Peppa Pig, princesses, Bluey and more. Please keep a look out for these on our social media for when they come up.
Party Packages
We offer four party packages to suit your little one's needs. Gold and Silver parties are exclusive hire (max capacity 40 including adults and children) available on Saturdays. If Saturdays are all booked, please email for availability on Sundays.
If you want a more low key party, or have a smaller budget, our Bronze packages are for you! We offer two Bronze packages; one exclusive hire and one non-exclusive hire. Please see below for more details.
You can now book your party online, by following the "book now" button below. A 50% deposit is required on booking for the Gold and Silver package and full payment is required when booking the bronze packages. The remainder will need to be paid on the day of the party.
No refunds are accepted.
Exclusive hire (subject to availability). Max capacity 40 (including adults and children) with a max number of children of 15. We only accept birthdays where the birthday child is turning 4 or under. Only older children (over 6 years) that may attend are the siblings of the party child. Older children are welcome BUT they will not have access to the role play area and count towards the capacity.

Total cost: £350
Price includes:
– Exclusive hire
– 2 hours role play fun – (1 hour 15 mins playing in our role play area followed by 45 mins eating in our party room
– Themed personalised lunchboxes (with birthday child’s name and age on) with pre-prepared party food and a drink. This includes the first 10 children (including the party child) and thereafter, an additional charge of £5 per child for food will apply
– Themed tablescape from a range of our themes
– Plates, napkins and table balloons included to tie in with theme
– Themed backdrops in party room
– Large light up number
Optional Extra:
We can supply themed birthday cakes made by Ellie’s Baking Goods for additional cost.

Want to celebrate your little one’s birthday but want something to suit your budget, is more low key or only have a small number of little ones coming? Then our Bronze packages are for you. We have two new options as follows:
Option 1 – £200
Exclusive hire of our 90 minute weekday session 11.15am to 12.45pm and use of cafe area. You may bring a birthday cake to eat during the session (terms and conditions apply see below).
Option 2 – £100
Non- exclusive hire held within one of our 2 hour play session at 11:00am (shared with the public). The package allows you 12 spaces (including all adults and children attending), two reserved tables and you may bring a birthday cake to eat during the session (terms and conditions apply see below).

T&C’s – Please read
No other food or drink is permitted other than the birthday cake. The cafe is open for anyone to purchase drinks and snacks. No more than 12 people (non exclusive hire) and 30 people (exclusive hire) are permitted. This includes all adults, children, the birthday child and you that are attending. Please do not turn up with extra people as they will be not be permitted in. Only paper plates for the cake will be allowed and one balloon. No other tableware please.
Schools, Nurseries & Clubs
We offer exclusive use of our role play centre for the above groups
You can now book and secure your session directly through our website. Simply follow the book now button below, select your desired date on the calendar and then select the “Play Session” time of 11am. On the right hand side, scroll down to find the ticket type for schools, nurseries and groups. The ticket type will only be available if that session is completely free.
Exclusive hire (subject to availability) of our role play centre in our 11am to 1pm slot. Session includes 1.5 hours role play and 30 minutes eating lunch in our cafe area.
Age limit: No age limit but please bear in mind the centre is aimed for children in 6yrs and under. No age limit is set as we are aware that some clubs cater for a range of ages.

– Full 1h 30mins of exclusive play in our role play area

Meet the Team
Experts in giving your children best start
We are both qualified teachers collectively having over 20 years’ experience in education, specifically Early Years and Key Stage 1, as well as both being parents. We have an enthusiasm for early childhood development and understand the value of how children’s early development is crucial to their success in school and the wider world.
We are passionate about how children thrive and the importance of embracing the schemas behind the theory of children’s development. We strongly believe, even more so than ever due to the impact of Covid, how fundamental children’s development is and how Little Land can support children’s personal, social and emotional development as well as their communication, language and physical development.

Frequently Asked Questions
We do appreciate that events happen, especially with younger children getting poorly. You can transfer your ticket, but this must be within 12 hours notice of your booking. If you are outside of this time, you can offer your ticket to a friend or family member to come in your place. You can manage ticket transfers yourself via the email confirmation you originally received, particularly if this is outside our opening times when we are unable to do it for you.
Our Centre is designed for children who can walk up to the age of 6 years. We offer a small area for babies and non-walking children where they can be put down supervised.
You can book online through this website (just hit the “book now” button) or by telephoning us. You can also book by walking in, but we would advise to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
We offer sessions 90 mins or 2 hours long.
We have some allocated parking spaces directly outside and adjacent to our unit. You will see our dedicated parking signs. If they are full, you may park where there are no double yellow lines, but please do not park in neighbouring business’ spots. Parking is free around the Kingfisher, Heron and Henwood Estate. Alternatively there is parking around Henwood or at the Flour Mills car park at the bottom of Mace Lane which is about a 5 min walk. Please give yourself enough time to familarise yourself with the area and park up before your visit.
We ask that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your time slot. Once the role-play area has been tidied from the previous session, we will open our doors and book you in so that you can start your session at the allocated time.
Children are welcome to bring their own food and drink to Little Land but we respectfully ask all adults to only consume food or drink bought at our cafe. Little Land offers an array of hot and cold drinks, children’s snacks, brownies, cakes and a selection of savoury delights (subject to availability).
Yes. Our disabled toilet and baby changing unit is situated on the ground floor. We also have a toilet and baby changing facilities on the first floor.
Absolutely! You may take photos and videos of your child playing but we would ask you to not include other children in these photographs and videos as much as possible to respect the privacy of other families.
We have very limited space in our role-play centre. Prams and buggies can be left in our entrance but when that is full, they will have to be left outside. As parking is outside or very nearby, please, where possible, we would ask you to leave your buggies in the car. Prams and buggies cannot be brought into the cafe area for fire regulation reasons.
Yes, we take all major card payments and also cash.

Yes, we offer gift vouchers in any denomination you require.
Unfortunately, due to the role-play centre being a small capacity business, we do not offer refunds for cancellations or no shows. We can transfer your ticket to another session time, but require at least 12 hours notice to do this.
